The East Kootenay Stock Dog Enthusiast and the British Columbia Stock Dog Association are hosting both the Western Canadian and Canadian Border Collie Association National Championship on August 25-28, 2011.
The event will include both the Open and Nursery Championships and we are fortunate, once again, to have the beautiful Pine Butte Ranch as our trial site. Our 250 sheep come from a large flock of Rambouillet and Rambouillet cross ewes shipped to us from Livingstone Hutterite colony, at Lundbreck in the Crows’ Nest Pass and will no doubt provide a challenge for both dogs and handlers.
